Music is one of the most outstanding ministries Dilworth Church offers to our community. Music inspires, teaches, and comforts us. It lifts our spirits, calls forth our creativity, and engages our whole being in praising God. We provide many ways for people of all ages to be involved in music at Dilworth Church.
Our Chancel Choir fills the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings at the 11:00 a.m. service with beautiful traditional and classical music. Directed by Bob Pritchard, practice is on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
Our handbell choir plays gorgeous hymns and traditional music about once a month for our worship services. This choir is open to high-schoolers and adults and practices on Sundays at 4:30 pm. The handbells are directed by Katie McCraw.
We have an active Children's Choir that loves to sing for our worship services. All children from ages 5 years old to 3rd grade have a place in the choir.
Join Mark Larson, Lois Kilkka, and a growing group of singers and musicians in leading the early worship service through a wide variety of music, from jazz to spirituals to secular to contemporary and traditional songs.
