Welcome to Dilworth United Methodist Church, a friendly, open and welcoming Christian community. You are always welcome, just as you are because at Dilworth there is a seat at Christ’s table for ALL people. Located in the heart of Dilworth, we are committed to developing faithful and engaging connections with our church family and community at large. We are intentional in our pursuit of compassion, understanding, humility, justice, and mercy. Through all this, we strive to be a sign of Christ’s love for the world. Join us.
KEEPING YOU UP TO DATE
During this time of Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing we here at Dilworth are adjusting the way we serve in ministry together. This means that schedules are changing rapidly and how we meet together as the Body of Christ varies greatly. I am proud of how the ministry staff is working diligently to meet all the needs in exciting and creative ways. It is our goal to continue to minister within the family of Dilworth Church and serve our neighborhood and city. We can still connect and do ministry and worship.
Please check our resources page for updated schedules and ways of connection. We will list our Bible studies, meetings and ministries in the calendar, along with the links in our blog posts. Much of this will be done via Zoom gatherings, Facebook, emails and other ways. You can also connect to special devotionals and recorded worship services.
As always, please keep us informed of any needs and questions you may have. We are here for one another Dilworth family. I lift you up in prayer daily and ask you to do the same for all people around the world.
Let’s not forget the hope and assurance that God gives us each day, “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
Pastors, Michelle and Cade, have an important announcement about the United Methodist Church as a whole and what these things mean for our DUMC family.

Ways to give
In our vows, we promise to support our church with our prayers, presence, service, witness, and gifts.
Dilworth Church can continue to build stronger, more faithful and engaging relationships with God, our church family, and the surrounding community, because of your faithful giving.
You can give online through our online giving platform, through the offering plate or for your convenience auto draft.
Together we will build stronger, more faithful and engaging connections with GOD,
our whole church family and our surrounding community. We will achieve that vision through:
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.
ACTS 2: 44-47
All the believers were together and had everything in common. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.
B And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
