Our plan will add 840 square feet, increase seating from 144 to 232, and seamlessly connect the chapel to the Jones Building, courtyard, and patio—creating a space that feels open, welcoming, and connected.
Highlights include:
- A bright, welcoming entrance on East Boulevard with new glass doors that turn a quiet corner into an open invitation to all who pass.
- A new lobby with direct interior connection from the Jones Building.
- Six glass doors that fill the chapel with natural light and open directly to the courtyard and columbarium.
- An expanded flagstone patio–perfect for outdoor fellowship, concerts, and celebrations.
- A new roof to protect against water damage for decades to come.

- Original stained-glass windows restored to their full beauty, free of outdated coverings.
- Lush new landscaping around the entrance, patio, and courtyard.

Together, we will create a space that offers modern comfort, state-of-the-art technology, and the flexibility to support ministry for decades to come.
Along with being reimagined, the space will also be renamed.
Introducing The Well at Dilworth. In scripture, wells were both life-giving sources of water and natural gathering places where communities came together. In that same spirit, The Well at Dilworth Church will be a bright, flexible, and welcoming place to gather, connect, learn, worship, celebrate, and be refreshed by God’s spirit.
With abundant natural light, modern technology, and seamless connections to the courtyard and Jones Building, The Well will complement our Sanctuary, Langford Hall, Multipurpose Room, and Board Room–giving us a warm, mid-sized space designed for fellowship and ministry.
