Worship is the main focus in the life of Dilworth Church. We praise God, learn how the Word of God is relevant in our lives, and connect with one another each Sunday.
10am In-Person and Virtual SERVICE (temporary)
As we find new ways to worship together, both in-person and virtually, we welcome you to join us at 10am in our sanctuary or virtually through our Facebook. The 10am service is simultaneously live streamed on our church Facebook page and is a blend of our traditional and Loft services.
The time and limited offering of our church service is temporary to ensure safety to our congregation during this time. As the pandemic situation changes, so too will our church service schedule. We hope to get back to normal soon!
ALL people are welcome to worship and be a part of Dilworth Church. Come as you are, for our doors are open to you. Whether in-person or virtual, we know that you will experience the grace of Jesus Christ.
In the Sanctuary
It is wonderful to be able to worship together in our sanctuary once more!
Let us be mindful of the needs of those around us. Out of love and safety for our youngest and most vulnerable, and due to the rise in Covid-19 cases, ALL worshipers are to wear masks while in the sanctuary.
As Matthew 7:12 says, “Treat others as you would want to be treated.”
Thank you for living in Christian love with one another!
- Dilworth UMC is always looking for help from those with musical talents! At this time, our Chancel Choir and Loft Band are working together to lead us in worship during our blended 10 am service. Whether you are interested in traditional and classical or contemporary and alternative worship music, please contact Roxanne Holt-Watson and Mark Larson for more information about leading our congregation in worship through the gift of music.
- Handbell Choir: Katie McCraw oversees our Handbell Choir AND Ensemble who perform for worship services throughout the year. They practice each Sunday at 5:30 pm and Katie will be glad to talk with you about it.
